Hold onto your hats, because Kasabian are the latest band to join The Xfm Residency, following the likes of The Prodigy, Coldplay, Kings of Leon and last month's inhabitants, the Manic Street Preachers.
The Xfm Residency is a one-hour show whereby an artist or band takes over the Xfm airwaves, playing the music they love and talk completely un-scripted. The band's Serge Pizzorno took control of the Xfm turntables and he promised an eclectic mix.
"It's like the FA Cup draw," he told us. "It's a real mixed bag. It makes no sense, but it makes a lot of sense."
