Spiritualized On Music: Response

Jason Pierce lead Spiritualized in to the Xfm studios. Three tracks were recorded which, predictably enough, were absolutely staggering.
On the eve of the release of Spiritualized's sixth studio album, Jason Pierce swung by Xfm to record three songs. Taking the trio of tunes from newest album 'Songs In A And E', it left no one in any doubt that Pierce remains a songwriting force to be reckoned with.
Spiritualized's revolving door of members may have spun consistently since their formation in 1991, but their talent to create ethereal, other-worldly music remains undimished. Drawing on a broad pallette of inspiration - anything from gospel to garage rock gets thrown into the mix - Pierce and Spiritualized have continually made inspiring, thought-provoking music with a limitless scope.
Needless to say, their Music:Response session was no different. Listen, be overawed, but most importantly, enjoy. Three tracks from an artist that's broken more ground than his contemporaries have had hot dinners. What's there not to like?
