1. Your chief characteristic
Clumsiness. Even when I'm sober I manage to knock into and trip over everything.
2. Your idea of happiness
A long lazy summer afternoon in the pub with my mates.
3. What was your worst ever job, and why?
Selling Rockports to scallies in a sportswear shop in Lancaster.
4. What would be your favourite occupation, and why?
When I was little I wanted to be a ballet dancer until I realised just how much hard work was involved.
5. Which character in musical history would you most like to be?
Debbie Harry.
6. Your favourite album ever, and why?
The Beatles 'Sergeant Pepper' for being the first record played to me by my parents.
7. What was the first single you bought?
I used to buy a lot of rubbish seven inches in charity shops for 10p cos I liked the covers, the only one I think was any good was They Might Be Giants 'Birdhouse In Your Soul'.
8. Your favourite qualities in a band or musician?
Attitude, fun, talent, conviction, a girl on guitar and a singer wearing eye liner.
9. Your favourite author?
Dr Seuss.
10. Your favourite film director?
Woody Allen.
11. Your favourite hero or heroine in real life?
My little brother. He's Ace.
12. Your favourite hero or heroine in fiction?
Barberella.
13. Your favourite restaurant, and why?
I'm not fussy - just get me a curry.
14. What three songs would you have played at your birthday?
Blondie - Atomic, Primal Scream - Come Together, Stone Roses - Waterfall.
15. What is your present state of mind?
Bit sleepy as usual.

Smile - it could be worse!
