Buzzcocks - 'Another Music In A Different Kitchen'

The great punk heroes of Manchester... and their finest hour.
Formed at Bolton Tech (woo!) in the mid-70s, Buzzcocks (no "The", please) were the pioneers of the Manchester punk scene, putting on the Sex Pistols at the now legendary Free Trade Hall in '76. However, once original member Howard Devoto jumped ship to form Magazine, Pete Shelly took over the reins as frontman, leading the band from their self-released 'Spiral Scratch' EP days to signing to major label United Artists. Their debut album, "Another Music In A Different Kitchen" remarkably didn't include the 'Cocks' major hits of the time - 'Orgasm Addict', 'What Do I Get' and 'Ever Fallen In Love...?', but featured the memorable 'I Don't Mind' and the live favourite 'Fast Cars'.
