Jack White Records Three New Albums

After the abrupt cancellation of the White Stripes' recent 'Icky Thump' tour Jack White has found time to make three new records.
The tour was pulled after Meg White's bout of acute anxiety, but there was a silver lining as Jack White explained to the Seattle Times:
"Half of me was glad because I have three other records I'm working on, and I didn't have any time to work on them, and I was really getting worried that I might have to not do these things I wanted to do because of the touring."
But despite the fact he insisted this material wasn't for White Stripes or Raconteurs, this does not however pre-empt an end for Jack and Meg, with things apparently back on track:
"[Meg] was really invigorating working together on this 'Conquest' record. I was wondering if she was interested, and she was completely — very, very involved."
Jack revealed nothing about rumoured solo material saying, "I don't know I haven't gotten there yet", nor did he name any of the three projects.
He also gave no comment on the affairs of his band The Raconteurs with vocalist Brendan Benson - famed for 'Steady As She Goes' - whose second album is due for release in 2008 with a coinciding tour.
The White Stripes - who recently recorded new tracks in Beck's living room - will continue their hiatus, with Jack stressing the duo wouldn't end unless Meg wished it:
"If it came to a point where Meg said, 'I don't want to be in this band anymore, it doesn't fulfill me in any way,' then it would be a different story. But she's not saying that."
