Charlotte Hatherley is brilliant. Her debut album ‘Grey Will Fade’ was pop brilliance. Second album ‘The Deep Blue’ was XTC-flavoured brilliance. Third album ‘New World’ is also brilliant. She sings and plays guitar brilliantly. Naturally, when she offered to swing by Xfm and play a song for Razor Cuts, the first word that came to mind was ‘great’.
Luckily, she’s a lady of her word and called in with guitar in tow. Rattling through a live version of the lovely ‘White’, we were utterly spellbound by Ash’s former six stringer. The Northern Irish trio’s loss, is the world’s gain and you can re-live this wonderful Hatherley moment below, right now.
