Xfm To Give U2 Single First Play On Monday

'Get On Your Boots' will hit the airwaves on the Breakfast Show on January 19 at 8am.
Bono's back! Xfm is to give its first play of the new U2 single during the Breakfast Show on Monday, January 19. The track is called 'Get On Your Boots' and is due to be released as a digital download on February 15, with a "proper", physical release the following day.
It's the first offering from the brand new album, 'No Line On The Horizon' and those who've heard it have agreed with Bono himself that there's something of a White Stripes vibe going on.
The album has been produced by '2 veterans Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois and Steve Lillywhite, and will be released in a deluxe edition with 24-page booklet and a companion DVD, 'Linear', directed by the master of grainy black and white shots, Anton Corbijn. A limited edition 64-page magazine will also be available, featuring the band in conversation with artist Catherine Owens, and new Corbijn photographs.
The full track listing is as follows:
1. No Line On The Horizon
2. Magnificent
3. Moment of Surrender
4. Unknown Caller
5. I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight
6. Get On Your Boots
7. Stand Up Comedy
8. Fez – Being Born
