Xfm Presents An Evening With The Gaslight Anthem

The Gaslight Anthem feature in our latest ‘An Evening With…’ and we couldn’t be happier about it. Everyone knows that ‘The ’59 Sound’ is a bit of a modern classic and it wasn’t a huge surprise to hear that the four piece hailed from New Jersey. Over 12 tracks, it embraced everything musical that we ever loved from ‘The Garden State’. Rocking guitars, big melodies and lyrics that hit the head and the heart with equal gusto it was, as we’ve said, a bit special.
The chaps came in and played four tracks from the album for an invited audience of Xfm listeners and our very own Steve Harris. You can listen to the session again here.
