U2 have announced that they will perform a special show to mark the 20th anniversary of the Berlin wall coming down. The Irish band will play the free show at the Brandenburg Gate on November 5.
The show will form part of this year's MTV Europe Music Awards. U2's manager Paul McGuinness said, "It'll be an exciting spot to be in, 20 years almost to the day since the wall came down. Should be fun."
Tickets will be available through the band's website.
