U2 Erect New "Berlin Wall" For Awards Show

Controversy as Berliners without tickets are kept away...
Organisers of a U2 gig to mark the collapse of the Berlin Wall have controversially erected their own wall to keep people out.
10,000 free tickets have been made available for tonight's concert in the German capital (November 5). But thousands of ticket-less fans are expected to turn up as well, so a two-metre high fence has been built around the Brandenburg Gate area - ironically, one of the places the notorious Berlin Wall was situated.
"It's a shame that a barrier has been set up. It's stopping many Berliners from hearing the concert," Berlin politician Frank Henkel explained to the BBC. "We don't know who's responsible for this, whether it's U2 or MTV."
Part of the show will be streamed live to the MTV Europe Music Awards at the O2 World in Berlin.
Foo Fighters and Green Day also playing the ceremony and Kings Of Leon have five nominations.

Nice comment Herr Henkel.
I suppose it'd be U2's fault as well if there was no fence and people got crushed to death.
