Super Furries Man To Produce Rascals
Head Rascal Miles Kane has revealed his band are due to enter the studio with SFA frontman Gruff Rhys to begin work on their second album.
The Rascals have enlisted the talents of Super Furry Animals singer Gruff Rhys to helm production duties on their second album. Speaking to the BBC, Miles Kane said:
“We’re gonna be trying some stuff with Gruff. We’ve got to set the date and that but yeah, I’m very excited to try it with him and see where we go because I really respect him and he’s a nice fella.”
The band look set to begin work on the follow-up to their debut, ‘Rascalize’, in Wales. The singer also hinted that the band were broadening their sound.
“It’s quite fresh sounding, quite Lennon-like, T-Rex. It’s got a bit of a summer vibe to it as well, quite different”.
