Stereophonics Give Arctic Monkeys The Thumbs Up

Kelly Jones nominates his Song Of The Decade for Xfm...
Stereophonics have weighed in with their choice for Song Of The Decade. In Xfm’s continuing quest to find the greatest song of the last ten years, Kelly Jones chipped in with the tune that has made the biggest impression on them.
Talking to Xfm Manchester’s Clint Boon, the frontman said: "Fake Tales Of San Francisco. The lyrics are brilliant and it reminds us of when we used to play pubs with the knobheads that wanted to be in bands who were trying to be flash."
Listen to Kelly’s full explanation here, including his recounting of the time he met Alex Turner… at Noel Gallagher’s fortieth birthday. Obviously.
