Slipknot And The Prodigy For Download

The hard rock festival at Donington Park comes out swinging with cross-over acts following the Sonisphere announcement yesterday,
The Prodigy and Slipknot have been announced as playing this year’s Download festival. The hard rock bash, which takes place at Donington Park, will take place between June 12 and 14.
Other acts set to play this year’s festival are hair-metal legends Motley Crue, nu-metal titans Korn and drum’n’bass upstarts Pendulum. Dragonforce and Devildriver have also been confirmed.
Tickets for the festival go on sale at 9am on Friday, February 13. They’re priced at £135 from the festival website - www.downloadfestival.co.uk. - which organisers promise will give punters ‘more bang’ for their buck over five days. Live music will make up three of these days.
