Razorlight To Play New Material at Winter Wonderland?

Johnny Borrell lets slip that Xfm may get a sneak preview of fresh tunes...
Razorlight have been announced as the London headliners at this year's Xfm Winter Wonderland. The band, whose Johnny Borrell has been hosting his own Sunday Service show on Xfm for the past two months, have just come back from holiday after spending 13 months touring 'Slipway Fires'.
However, talking to Xfm's Ian Camfield this morning (November 2), Borrell revealed that the group were already writing new material. "[Before the show], we're gonna be in the studio working on some new stuff, so we'll be a functioning band. I'd say 100% definitely we'll play something new!"
Appearing with Razorlight at the O2 Academy Brixton on Wednesday December 16 will be The Temper Trap, The Big Pink, Bombay Bicycle Club and more. Manchester's leg of Winter Wonderland takes place on December 8 and will feature The Cribs, Echo And The Bunnymen, Frank Turner, Liam Fray of The Courteeners and many more.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (November 6) at 8am - for more details, see www.xfm.co.uk/winterwonderland.
