Paul McCartney Makes Surprise Appearance At Neil Young Show

Macca turns up onstage unannounced during the Godfather Of Grunge's Hyde Park date...
Neil Young's Hard Rock Calling show in Hyde Park was given a surprise last night (June 27) when Paul McCartney made an unannounced guest appearance. Macca suddenly ran onstage during The Godfather Of Grunge's traditional closing cover of The Beatles' 'A Day In The Life'.
Joining Young at the microphone, McCarteny sang along with the uptempo mid-section of the classic and remained onstage for the rest of the number, at one point bowing in awe at Young's fearsome guitar playing. The pair then played a bizarre and brief tune together at the xylophone, before closing the show.
