MGMT And Karen O To Appear On New Flaming Lips Album

Plus, Wayne Coyne, entourage, balloons etc will be on tour in November...

Details have been revealed about the brand new album from The Flaming Lips - and there are going to be a few very special guests. Both MGMT and Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will appear on the record - which is to be called 'Embryonic' and no less than a double album.

The LP is expected to arrive in September and The 'Lips are due to play a short tour of the UK in November. The dates are: Troxy, London (November 10); Guildhall, Portsmouth (November 13); O2 Academy, Glasgow (November 15); Academy, Manchester (November 16); and O2 Academy, Birmingham (November 17).
