Jack White Turns Down Slash

The White Stripe won't play on the guitarist's solo album...
The ongoing saga of Slash's solo album has hit a spot of mild disappointment, with the announcement that White Stripes and Dead Weather man Jack White had turned down the opportunity to appear.
The likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Jason Bonham, Alice Cooper, Izzy Stradlin and Duff MacKagan are all expected to appear on the album, but His Slashness has been let down by Detroit's finest.
"I wanted to get Jack White to sing on something, but he didn't want to sing," the plank-spanker told Musicradar. "He said I'll play drums, I'll play guitar, but I don't wanna sing. He was one guy that I wanted to work with. Pretty much everyone else that I went after I managed to get."
