Dave Grohl: "Greatest Hits Is Like An Obituary"

Plus: Them Crooked Vultures offer free download...
Dave Grohl has revealed that he's a little uneasy with the release of the new Foo Fighters compilation, claiming that it feels like the band is dead and buried.
"It still seems premature because we're still a functioning, active band," he told the BBC. "Those things can look like an obituary."
The 'Greatest Hits' album was released this week and features two new tracks - two brand new tracks - 'Wheels' and 'Word Forward'. However, Grohl claimed that the track listing didn't represent the Best Of Them (ho ho) and was akin to a study-guide version of the Foos.
"It's like a CliffsNotes version of what we've been doing for the last 15 years. I think there are better songs than some of those."
In other Grohl news, Them Crooked Vultures are giving away a free download today (November 3). The band who feature Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and John Paul Jones are offering fans a free copy of 'Mind Eraser, No Chaser' on iTunes.
