Aerosmith's Steven Tyler Hurt In Stage Fall

Singer lives it up, goes down at open air show...
Steven Tyler of Aerosmith had to be airlifted to hospital last night (August 5) after taking a tumble off stage during a gig. The veteran rock band were halfway through (ironically) 'Love In An Elevator' at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota in the US, when the PA broke down.
Trying to entertain the crowd with some impromptu dancing, Tyler fell backwards off the catwalk and suffered injuries to his head and neck after colliding with some audience members.
After the frontman was rushed to hospital in a helicopter, guitarist Joe Perry told the audience that the rest of the show was cancelled.
However, in a message to fans, Tyler's daughter Mia revealed, "Just got the news that my dad is okay. Thank you all for your wonderful prayers and positive energy!"
