Hard-Fi Announce Arena Tour (Finally)

added 11 September 2007 at 11.03

After a series of intimate gig tours Hard-Fi have finally revealed details of a huge arena tour this December in support of their number one album - 'Once Upon A Time In The West'.

The self-proclaimed "arena-busting tour" kicks off on December 4 at Glasgow's Barrowlands, taking in a total of eleven headline dates including a finale Christmas show at London's Wembley Arena on December 18.

The tour follows their recent sold-out string of intimate club dates and their previous 2007 jaunt in July which saw Richard Archer and the Staines massive playing tiny venues such as the Dublin Castle in Camden.

It seems that the band - who's second album 'Once Upon A Time In The West' rocket to number one in the UK album charts (read Xfm's review here) - are ready to upscale to some bigger and bolder venues.

"This is our first real tour for the new album,” says Archer, “We can't wait to take it on the road with all the old favourites from the first LP. These will be our biggest shows so far - and we intend to make them our best!"
