Daft Punk Plan Live Album Release

Electronic dance duo Daft Punk are planning to release a live album from their homecoming Paris show last June. Ridiculously excited? Nous sommes. Naturellement.
The as-yet-untitled record is currently scheduled for release in late November, with a single CD edition planned featuring the main Paris show at Bercy, plus an optional extra disc with the encore included.
The more talkative half of the dynamic duo, Thomas Bangalter, told Billboard, "We're from Paris and hadn't played there for ten years. It must have been a special night for the audience, as well as for us."
A single for the live version of 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger' - which Kanye West recently sampled in his originally entitled hit 'Stronger' - will also be released.
Although no live DVD release is officially planned (yet), a video directed by Oliver Gondry (brother of esteemed director Michel) will also be issued, consisting of a montage of footage shot by fans at the dance masters' Brooklyn show.
Bangalter said of the release "It is a montage of people shooting the song in the audience with 250 camers. We were inspired by the Beastie Boys 'Awesome, I F***in' Shot That!' and tried ot do that in a four-minute video."
Daft Punk - who played several UK festival dates this summer as part of their world tour - have one more scheduled live date as of yet; a headline slot at the Vegoose Festival in Las Vegas on October 27, with more live shows expected next year.
Xfm caught up with Daft Punk when their were in the UK for their O2 Wireless Festival slot and found out about their film directorial debut 'Electroma' which is currently being screened at selected cinemas around the UK.
