Bring Your Porter To The Slaughter - Iron Maiden Drummer Arrested

Lantern faced Iron Maiden drummer Michael 'Nicko' McBrain is facing charges of assault after allegedly hitting a parking attendant with his car while trying to get into his own concert in New York.
The incident occurred on Saturday (July 26) when McBrain was attempting to drive his Jaguar into the VIP parking area before a New York concert as part of the band's 'Give Me Ed... 'Til I'm Dead' tour.
A 30-year-old parking attendant present asked the drummer for his backstage credentials then claims McBrain drove forward, hitting his legs and sending him on to the hood of the car, causing him minor injuries to his legs and hand.
According to Major Richard O'Donnell of the New York State Park Police, McBrain, 51, was charged with third-degree assault and is due to appear in court on September 16.
Elsewhere in a convenient coincidence Iron Maiden have announced they will be releasing a new single 'Wildest Dreams' on September 1 along with a new album 'Dance of Death' on September 8. The band have also revealed details of a UK tour, tickets for which go on sale July 30. The full dates are:

- Sheffield Arena (6)
